Perform with us - recital space

Nightingale Gallery invites proposals for our intimate 75-seat performance venue, featuring a Steinway Model B Grand Piano. Our venue offers an elegant setting with exceptional acoustics, ideal for both emerging and established artists.

We welcome applications for a wide range of performance events, including:

  • Recital
  • Small Scale Theatre
  • Cabaret
  • Masterclasses
  • Lecture
  • Poetry
  • Comedy

Performances are selected through proposal and performance review.

  • The Main Gallery is 7m x 12.4m
  • Applications are accepted for single evening or short-term events
  • Opportunities for both early-career and established artists

Artists selected to perform in our Recital Space are supported by the Nightingale Gallery team to produce a tailored performance event, which supports artists through the entire production process.

INCLUSIONS

Recital Space hire includes:

  • Pre-concert consultation and ongoing support
  • Steinway B Grand piano
  • Black Chiavari event chairs
  • Custom-designed digital performance event invitation for performer and gallery distribution
  • Dedicated online event listing
  • Promotion via Nightingale Gallery’s mailing list, website and social channels
  • Gallery lighting
  • Ticketing (Nightingale gallery charges $3 per ticket)

Rates

The performance space rents for $200 + GST per hour and requires a minimum booking of four hours. In addition, there is a $3 commission charged on each ticket sold. The performing artist determines the ticket price. Ticket prices are inclusive of GST.
