Lesley Dickman: Wading through water

Dickman’s paintings are set within water landscapes, exploring the presence of women in relation to the sea and the shifting, often unpredictable environments that surround them. Within the artworks, water becomes the dominant structure and a pivotal point for creating narratives that are varied and elusive.
