Angeline Bartholomeusz
Angeline Bartholomeusz was born in Sri Lanka (1964) and immigrated to Australia as a young child. She is a Melbourne-based landscape painter who skilfully incorporates abstraction into her art.
Outside of her solo and numerous group exhibitions, her works have been exhibited as finalist in prominent art prizes including Ravenswood Art Prize and most recently Doyles Landscape Prize (2025, 2026), the John Villers Outback Art Prize (2026) and Lethbridge landscape prize Salon des Refuses (2026).
In addition to her work as an artist, Angeline holds a BSc (Hons) PhD from Monash University.
